She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Calvin Long; her siblings, Jeanett Long and Ralph Long; and her husband Eugene Estes of Winchester. She is survived by: her children, Terry Eugene Estes (Teresa) of Winchester and Teresa Gail Smyser (Keith) of Athens, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Aaron Smyser (Samantha) of Starkville, Mississippi, Whitney Kroh (Devin), Richard Estes (Meagan) of Denver, Kentucky and Caitlin Troutman, II (John) of Stafford, Virginia. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be offered in her memory to the Children's Ministries of First Baptist Church, Winchester, Kentucky.
