It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilburn Hatton in Wilmore, Kentucky, born in Winchester, Kentucky, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Jean Hatton; his parents, Jim Hatton and Emma Hatton; his son Gayle Hatton; and his grandson Colby Giles.

He is survived by: his children, Gerry Hatton (Diane) of Richmond and Debra Giles (Robert) of Versailles; his daughter-in-law Kathy Hatton of Richmond; his grandchildren, Dana Hatton-Middleton, Angela Browning, Patricia Mitchell and Robin Brown; and his great grandchildren, Kadence Browning, Keaston Browning, Hannah Mitchell, Logan Mitchell, Caleb Mitchell, Porter Brown and Palmer Grace Carmichael.
