He is survived by: his wife Patricia McKee Bottom; his children, Jo Abshire, Darla Southerland and Truman Bottom; his brother Marshall McDonald Bottom; and his grandchildren, Michael Southerland (Laura), Alex Southerland, Tanner Southerland, Breannah Bottom, Kaitlyn Bottom, Makenna Bottom, Tra Abshire, Andrew Abshire and Hannah Tackett.
