He is survived by: his wife Lucia Jane Bird Grammel; his children, Thomas Roy Grammel, Cheryl Griffis (Morgan), Joseph Grammel (Caitlin) and Dora Daniel (Carson); his granddaughter Clementine Betsy Daniel; his brothers, Steven Grammel and David Grammel (Debra); and his parents, Joseph Spencer Grammel and Margret Nowatzky Grammel.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be sent to Bluegrass Care Navigators or WFMC Children's Ministries.
