She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus William Carter and Robbie Florence Cannon Carter; her husband Carlton E. Renfroe, Jr. of Dunwoody; her son Kenneth T. Joiner; and her siblings, Raymond Carter and Lenora C. Winderweedle.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Joiner Marchman of Wilmore; and her siblings, Eugene Carter of Goldsboro, Patricia Carter of Columbus, Georgia, Boneta Sellars of Valdosta and Brinson Carter of Stockton, Utah..
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to either Wounded Warriors Project, American Heart Association or to the Kidney Foundation.
