With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lowell Green Pennington of Wilmore, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Pennington and Edna Whitt Pennington; his wife Wanda Lee Thornberry; his siblings, Wendell Pennington, Wayne Pennington, Buel Pennington and Lavinia Davis; and his son-in-law Robert Burkhart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elesha Burkhart Lisle (Hunter) of Nicholasville, KY and Erica Pennington Martinez (Tony) of Nicholasville; his grandsons, Jonathan Burkhart, Xavier Martinez and Levi Martinez; and his siblings, Percy Pennington and Shelba Thornberry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
