She was predeceased by : her parents, Doc Stallard Johnson and Letha Francis Johnson; her spouse Keen Varney, Jr.; her daughter Janet Bowling; and her siblings, Larry Johnson and Debbie Johnson.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, James Bowling of Dry Ridge, Brian Bowling of Dry Ridge, Jennifer Bowling of Dry Ridge and Brandie Bowling of Florence; her great grandchildren, Seth Bowling, Jacob Bowling, Carter Bowling, Lily Bowling and Carly Bowling; and her siblings, Nora Johnson of Troy, OH, Ernistene "Tina" Boyd of Severn, NC, Danny Johnson of Matawan, WV and Lloyd Johnson of Beach Creek, WV..
