It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Evelyne Stephens of Williamstown, Kentucky, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. King and Nora King (Stephens); her husband Kurtis Stephens; her son Marvin Lee Stephens; her grandchildren, Heather Slaughter, Tiffany Baird and Garrett Baird; her siblings, Donald King, Leo King, Rose Anderson, Kathleen Grant and Ethel Baird; and her siblings-in-law, Evelyn King, Deloris King, Bill Anderson, Ed Meadows and Leamon Baird.
She is survived by: her children, Willard Stephens (Patricia) of Pine Knot, Kurtis Dale Stephens (Debra) of Florence, Bobby Charles Stephens (Peggy) of Williamstown, Kentucky, Jewel Baird (Benny) of Pine Knot, Wilma Vargas (Lee) of Florence and Kathey Merrell (Randy) of Hebron, Kentucky; her siblings, Linville King, Francis King, Cecil King (Toni), Anna Anderson (Willis) and Bonnie Meadows; and her sisters-in-law, Cynthia King and Christine McNeal. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren.
