She was predeceased by : her parents, Zimmer True and Opal Brinnegar Paul; her foster parents, Mary Worthington and Harold Worthington; and her siblings, Zimmer True, Donnie True and Bernice Foll.

She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Newton Franks; her sons, Brian Franks (Laura) and Craig Franks (Dana); and her foster siblings, Robbie Worthington (Paula) and Jeanne Reid (Carol). She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great grandson.
