He was predeceased by: his parents, Bynum C. Smith and Ella Long Smith; and his spouse Doshie Lee Perry. He is survived by: his son George Randel Smith of Williamstown, KY; his sister Norma Polly (Jimmy) of Nancy, KY; and his granddaughters, Taylor Trosper (Tyler) and Faith Smith.
