He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leonard and Jean Brooks Rider; and his brothers, Edward "Eddie" Ray Rider and Victor Dwight "Ike" Rider. He is survived by: his children, Trina Rider of Independence, Tracey Rider of Williamstown and Dwayne Rider of Williamstown; his siblings, Reva Myers of Cordova and Charles Leonard Rider, Jr. of Melbourne, FL; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Penick Magee (Wesley), Ashley Jolly Vater (Chaz) and Trenton Robinson. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
