He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Spencer and Mildred Jeanette Daniel Adams; and his siblings, Dean, Ray, Geraldine, Gerald and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Adams; his son Daniel John Adams of Williamstown, KY; his stepchildren, Donald Allen Mortenson of Williamstown and Janelle Marie Gibbs (Bill) of Hickory, NC.; and his granddaughters, Gracie Adams, Audrey Adams and Natalie Adams.
