Alan Glenn Beach of Owenton, KY departed from this life on October 2, 2018 surrounded by his family at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Morton and Daisy Mae (Webster) Beach; his sister, Linda Shepard; his brother, Raymond Beach. He is survived by :his children, Donald Beach, Ron Beach of Dry Ridge, Christopher G. Beach of Owenton, Tabitha Jean Beach (fiancee, Mickey McAdams) of Erlanger and Lucinda Jane Beach of Owenton; and his siblings, John Beach of Georgetown, Marvin Beach, Milford Beach, Melvin Beach of Georgetown, Albert Beach of Lusby Mill, Norma Jean Rayborn Butcher of Georgetown, Dorothy Collins of Ohio, Virginia Jones of Somerset, Kathy Bailey of Union and Shirley Devers of Georgetown. He also is survived by 5 grandchildren: Debra Beach, Damien Beach, Aiden Beach, Sandra Dawn Beach, Brody Alan Beach; and one great-grandchild, Malachi. He is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; his partner of over 20 years, Dora Bice, as well as his beloved dog, Missy.
Alan adored his family and could be found helping friends and neighbors when he wasn't with his family. He also enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith Show, Gunsmoke, and Hee Haw every day. Alan was a hard worker and was a retiree of Performance Pipe of Williamstown, where he worked for 35 years until 2014. He had an impressive collection of baseball caps and tools. Alan also had impeccable knowledge of cars and enjoyed attending car shows. Alan was never a man for wasting time and even when he was a very sick man, he walked quickly and with purpose. He taught his children the same virtue. He will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives he touched.
