He is survived by: his children, Shawn Freeman (James) of Williamsburg, John Wayne Davis of Williamsburg and Ronald Davis (Cynthia) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, James Freeman Jr., Meagan Siler, James Davis Jr., Tommy Davis, Daniel Davis and Sonya Davis; and his sister Marie Crusenberry of Williamsburg.
