He was predeceased by: his parents, Whyte Capps and Bertha Capps (Bailey); his wife Kathern Capps (Davis); his siblings, Mary Cathern Wolfe (Capps), Marcus and Glen Capps; and his sister-in-law Ruth Capps.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Capps (Vickie) of Williamsburg and Michael Capps (Carol) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Cathy Capps, Matthew Capps, Calvin Capps, Jessica Capps and Lori Capps; and his brothers, Ivan Capps (Faye) of Williamsburg, James Capps of Trimble and Roy Capps (Kay) of Wichita Falls, Texas. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
