She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Cole and Nannie Riley Cole Smith; her husband Robert Lee Brown, Sr.; her brother Jack Cole; and her daughter Winifred Brown Hornstein.
She is survived by: her children, Marjorie Thomas (Dan) of Morehead and Robert Lee Brown, Jr. (Sandra) of Lexington. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
