He is survived by: his mother Cleo Tye (Gray) of Corbin; his wife Loretta Tye of Corbin; his children, Speed Tye, Zachary Tye of Pineville and Amber Rice of Corbin; and his stepdaughters, Tiffany Anderson and Ashley Jones of Corbin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
