We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024, at the age of 73, Shirley Davenport of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Cary Spence and Emily Spence (Handly); her sister Hannah Parten; and her brother-in-law Jack Parten. She is survived by: her daughter Emily Marie Davenport of Williamsburg, KY; her granddaughter Peyton Marie Davenport of Williamsburg, KY.; and her godchildren, Colton, Callie and Camryn Singleton.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Youngs Creek Cemetery.
