He was predeceased by: his father Norman Helton. He is survived by: his wife Reva Helton; his children, Clorissa Wilson, Felicia Smith and Richard Jr.; his mother Roxie Helton; and his siblings, Emanuel Helton (Angie) and Kathy Helton. He is also survived by grandchildren.
