With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lee Cox (Williamsburg, Kentucky), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Thornton and Gladys Cox; and his sisters, Louise Wallace, Francis Rains, Elizabeth Satterfield, Louetta Bryant and Dessie Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Regina Cox; his daughters, Amanda Cox Rose, Cortni Cox, Monica Hartman and Jenny Teague (Brandon); his grandchildren, Braxton Croley, Heaven Croley, Kaleb Shelton, Trinity Shelton, Jacob Pfoutz and Autumn Pfoutz; and his siblings, Frank Morgan (Bonnie), Bill Thornton, Terry Wallace, John Thornton, Jimmy Thornton (Linda) and Dora Sutton.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Croley Funeral Home (103 S 2nd St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Croley Addition Highland Park Cemetery.
