He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ball and Hazel Taylor Ball; and his siblings, Vasco, Roy, Boyd, Hurstle and Mildred Campton.
He is survived by: his wife Marlane Wallace Ball; his children, Randle D. Ball (Lisa) and Kimberly Ball; and his siblings, Lewis Ball, Kenneth Ball, Delmer Ball (Wilda), Shirley Lee, Thressie Key (Jim), Kathy Ann Strunk and Blanche Ball. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many musician friends.
