She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Adkins and Savannah Baird Adkins; her husband William "Bud" Marcum; her granddaughter Joyce Ruth; and her siblings, Harold Adkins, Lawrence Adkins, Verna Bray and Clyde Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Ward (David), William Marcum, Jr. and Rebecca "Becky" Marcum (Donnie Stephens); her grandchildren, David Lee (Jessica), Harvey Marcum, Jessica Marcum (Tyler Gross), Rebecca Clark (Travis) and John Wayne Lemmings; her great grandchildren, David Ward, Toby Ward, Skylight Marcum, Addison Mills, Sadie Mills, Houston Marcum, Joseph Clark and Savannah Clark; and her siblings, Jesse James Adkins (Martha) and Marylin Nichols. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
