She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Sr. Thomas and Gladys Marie Cox Thomas; her husband Lee Barnhill; her stepson Ricky Lee Barnhill; her brothers, Frankie Thomas, Woodrow Thomas Jr. and Billy Joe Thomas; and her aunt Jessie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Nychella Young of Williamsburg, Paula Young of Williamsburg and Everett Young of Williamsburg; and her siblings, Shirley Roth, Rosa Tye, Bob Thomas and Bruce Thomas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
