She was predeceased by: her parents, George Anderson Rains (Exie) and Dessie Thelma Rains (Barton); her husband James Leslie Burke Jr.; her son Curtis Lee Burke; and her siblings, Ruth Louise Rains and Curtis Leon Rains (Sonny).
She is survived by: her son Billy Burke of Williamsburg, KY; her granddaughter Kacie Hersey (Nathaniel) of Williamsburg, KY; her great grandchild Olson Hersey of Williamsburg, KY; her sister Carrie Strunk of Williamsburg, KY; her nieces, Karen Schoonover (Jeff) of Abilene, TX, Teresa Lambdin (Jimmy) of Williamsburg, KY and Natosha Hurst (Brian) of Williamsburg, KY; her nephew Curtis Rains II of Williamsburg, KY; her great-nephews, Nick Lambdin (Sara), Zachary Schoonover of Abilene, TX and Logan Schoonover of Abilene, TX; and her extended family, Hannah Lawson of Williamsburg, KY and Matthew Lawson of Columbus, OH.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
