He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Eli Abner Lawson and Mary Lawson (Carr); his brother Ricky Lawson; and his uncle Ray Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Arlene Lawson of Williamsburg; his children, Cindy Lynn Sutton (Jeff) of Burlington, Tony Monroe Lawson (Sarah) of Williamsburg and Megan MaKayla Vanover (Cody) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Samantha Sutton, Alexander Sutton, Myleigh Farmer, Carter Vanover, Caseyn Lawson, Parker Vanover and Blayklee Lawson; and his close friends, Tim Bays, Richard Corbin and Tammy Taylor of Williamsburg.
