He is survived by: his significant other Arlene Adkins of Williamsburg; his children, Shawn Whitman (Stephanie) of Steinhatchee, Melissa Coleman (John) of Trinity and Justin Whitman (Trista Baker) of Clearwater; his stepchildren, Ashley Bisschop (Gerald Michael) of Corbin and Andrew Adkins (Charray) of Hamilton; and his brothers, Rick Whitman (Betty) of Weeki Wachee and Gary Whitman of Homosassa Springs. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
