He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Hudson and Maggie Small Hudson; his grandson Wesley Hamblin; and his siblings, Bill Hudson, Carl Hudson, Bruce Hudson, Willard Hudson, June Cummins, Lois Moss, Beaulah Brewer and Thelma Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Vann Hudson; his children, Sheila Hudson of Thaxton, VA, Connie Rice (Rick) of Bowling Green, KY, Jimmy Hudson (Becky) of Williamsburg, KY and Andelynn Hamblin (Robbie) of Williamsburg, KY.; his grandchildren, Robert Steakley (Tonya), Bradley Mason (Shayla), Laura Beth Rice, Katharine Tibbs (Nick), Samuel Hudson, Allie Mason, Karissa Griffith and Brooklyn Griffith; his great grandchildren, Makinlee Steakley, Brett Mason and Miley Mason; and his brothers, Richard Hudson of Williamsburg, KY, Gary Hudson of Williamsburg, KY, Glenn Hudson of LaFollette, TN and Bob Hudson of Corbin, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ellison Funeral Home (512 Main St, Williamsburg, KY 40769). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
