He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Rountree and Annie Rountree (Moses); and his siblings, Arvide Rountree, Arlie Rountree, Shirlene Byrd and Dora Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Rountree (Moses) of Williamsburg; his daughter Anita Vance (Danny) of Annville, Kentucky; his granddaughter Jessica Teague; his great grandchildren, Lindsay, Carrie, Gage and Alaina; and his siblings, Dessie Moses of Williamsburg, Rusha Caddell of Williamsburg, Joann Moses of Williamsburg and Estil Rountree (Audrey) of Jupiter, Florida.
