He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Lawson (Worley); and his siblings, Geneva "Doll" Lawson, Eugene "Jailer" Lawson, Orie "Cat" Lawson and Jimmy "Bodine" Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Teddy Ray Lawson (Barbara) of Williamsburg, Floyd "Drew" Lawson of Williamsburg and Shawn Lawson of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Tyler Ray Lawson and Tanner Joe Lawson; and his siblings, Eula Daugherty of Williamsburg, Arthur "Art" Lawson of Williamsburg, Olan Lawson of Williamsburg and Danny Lawson of Williamsburg.
