She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Dorland Baird and Charlotte Galloway Baird; and her husband Chester R. Young, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Young (John Teague), Virginia Young and C. Ray Young, Jr. (Michelle). She is also survived by seven granddaughters, and twelve great grandchildren.
