He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hone and Norma Tuggle (Hurst); his stepfather James Tuggle; and his grandparents, Jess and Margie Hurst.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Vanderpool (Billy) of Danville, Darrin Hone of Rockholds, Devin Hone of Williamsburg and Kristen Hone of Williamsburg; and his sisters, Rhonda (Roderick), Rebecca Jones of Whitley City and Jamie Tuggle-Boyce of Lenoir City, Tennessee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
