With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emilee Payne of Williamsburg, Kentucky, born in Newcomb, Tennessee, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jeffers and Etta Hicks Jeffers; her husband George Payne; her great grandchild Elliana Woods; her son-in-law Rev. Lenny Strunk; and her brother Oscar Jeffers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Strunk of Williamsburg, KY, Janice Payne of Jacksboro, TN and Patricia Halcomb (Brent) of Williamsburg, KY; her grandchildren, Emily Ann Woods (Justin) and Luke Halcomb (Karson); her great grandchild Jordan Ray Woods; and her siblings, Amy Hall of Monroe, MI, Geneva Smith of Maineville, OH, Carl Jeffers (Sammie Jo) of Loveland, OH and Jerry Jeffers (Anna Ruth) of Deer Park, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
