He is survived by: his significant other Ella Gist of Williamsburg; his sons, Phillip and David Bowman of Cincinnati; his grandchildren, Tarian Bowman and Merrick Bowman; his stepmother Marcella Lawson of Williamsburg; and his siblings, Earl Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, Phillip Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, Mark Lawson of Williamsburg, KY, Martha Adkins of South Carolina, Josephine Teague of Jellico, Shirley Faust of Williamsburg and Lisa Lawson of Lexington.
