He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb Rose and Joie Lambdin Rose; his great grandchild Hagan; his siblings, Juanita Anderson, James Rose and Clyde Rose; and his nephews, Jerry Holloway and Cale Rose.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rose of Williamsburg, KY; his daughter Tammy Douglas (Allen) of Williamsburg, KY; his grandchildren, Kelly Moses (Jonathan) of Williamsburg, KY and Cooper Douglas of Williamsburg, KY; his great grandchild Isaac Moses; his siblings, Dora Holloway of Williamsburg, KY, Joann Brown (Johnny) of Williamsburg, KY, Betty Moses (Dean) of Williamsburg, KY, Billy Rose of Williamsburg, KY and Carl Rose (Della) of Williamsburg, KY; and his brother-in-law Cecil Moses (Penny). He is also survived by five nieces, five nephews, several great nieces, several great nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
