He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stout and Viola Stout (Green); and his daughter Rebecca Stout. He is survived by: his wife Jean Stout of Williamsburg; his children, Alesha Stout of Williamsburg and Angela Smith of Corbin; his grandchildren, Jacobe Taylor, Everlee Bennett, Megan Smith and Emily Smith; and his siblings, Darrell Stout, Paul Stout of Johnson City, Tennessee, Geneva Osborne of Johnson City and Evelyn Scott of Idaho.
