He was predeceased by: his mother Alda Harp; his stepfather Calvin Harp; and his brother Edward Weaver. He is survived by: his father Baker; his wife Jennifer Ridener (Rhodes) of Williamsburg; his sons, Calvin Ridener (Stephanie) of Williamsburg and Damien Rhodes of Richmond, Virginia; his granddaughters, Abigail Ridener of Williamsburg and Kaylee Ridener of Williamsburg; and his siblings, Debbie Smith (George) of Corbin, Barbara Keisler (Franklin) of Rockport, Alda Walker (Wayne) of Williamsburg and Robert Ridener (Brenda) of Enterprise.
