It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Eugene Smith (Williamsburg, Kentucky), who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Smith and Rhoda Smith (Lawson); and his siblings, Harold Smith, Joie Lee Leach, Ethel Farrington and Brenda Cote.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith (Parker) of Williamsburg; his children, Robin Burr (Paul) of Berea, Cindy Speicher (Greg) of Burleson, Tim Smith (Melanie) of Williamsburg and James Matthew Smith (Melissa Jo) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Zack Burr, Samantha Burr, Kyle Speicher, Brandi Rhoades, Annie Jo Smith, Elizabeth Hester, Brooklyn Smith, Mattie Beth Smith and Braylee Smith; his sister Helen Fuson of Williamsburg; his niece Ruth Honaker; and his nephew Dicky Hamby.
