It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Dick Chambers of Williamsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Obediah Chambers and Mary Jane Chambers (Lawson); his wife Marie Chambers (Rose); and his siblings, Raymond Lawson, Effie Croley, Ernest Lawson, Geneva Anne Van Etten, Dori Ellen Lawson, J. V. Lawson, Arthur Lawson and Dewey Chambers.
He is survived by: his children, Gary "Pete" Chambers (Faye) of Williamsburg, Dennis Chambers of Hazard, Brenda Douglas (Tim) of Toledo and Debbie Long (Larry) of Maumee; and his grandchildren, Jesse Chambers (Erica), Danny Thomas (Stephanie), Brooke Davidson (Ryan), Holly Douglas, Hannah Douglas, Andrew Douglas, Kayla Long, Katelyn Long and Adelynn Long. He is also survived by loving great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other significant family members and special friends.
