He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Carl E. Ausmus and Hattie C. Ausmus Finley. He is survived by: his wife Jennie Lou Ausmus of Williamsburg; his stepsons, Robert A. West of Williamsburg and Larry West (Ginnie) of Williamsburg; his stepgrandchildren, Joseph West, Emma West, Whitley West Sears (Andrew) and Alivia West; and his sister Janice Ausmus Simpson of Jellico.
