With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Pennington of Williamsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on December 13, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvania Bray Sizemore and Elbert Pennington; his sons, Eddie Ray Pennington and James Woodrow Pennington; his great grandchildren, Anthony Faulkner and Greyson Messer; his grandfather Hamp Pennington; his aunt Sadie Bray Vanzant; his uncle John Timothy Vanzant; and his siblings, Ira Sizemore, Oscar Hoskins, Lewis Pennington, Timmy Sizemore, Jean Baxter, Sally Robinson and Bertha Sue Bott.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Pennington; his sister Bobbie Sizemore Elswick of London; and his children, Johnny Pennington of Williamsburg, Lisa Messer of Williamsburg, Karen Michaux (Jeff) of Williamsburg and Sojna Askins (Sonia) of Williamsburg. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
