Barbara Carnes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2023, at the age of 100, Barbara Carnes (Williamsburg, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Mitchell and Savannah Smith Blanton; her husband Frank Ferrell "Prof" Carnes; her siblings, Alva Merle Blanton, Denver Garland Blanton, Marlin Doyle Blanton and Dewey Bennett Blanton; and her grandson Simon "Sim" Leonard Renfro IV.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Ferrell Carnes Jr., Catharine Carnes Renfro (Ronnie) and Robert Garland Carnes (Bethani); her grandchildren, Aaron Ferrell Renfro (Jessica), William Joseph Renfro (Jaclyn), Zachary Ryan Carnes (Mattie) and Kaitlyn Brooks Carnes; and her great grandchildren, Leo Raymond Renfro and Annie Louise Carnes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bluegrass Care.
