It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alonzo Sawyers (Williamsburg, Kentucky), born in Corbin, Kentucky, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leander Sawyers and Mary Sawyers; and his grandson Jacob Paul. He is survived by: his wife Jene Sawyers (Jones) of Williamsburg; his son Al Sawyers of Florida; his stepchildren, Eddie Decker (Jeannette) of Williamsburg, James Decker (Tiffany Lynch) of Williamsburg and Elizabeth Paul (Lonnie Jr.) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Hailey Paul, Ciara Paul, Madison Paul, Jonathan Paul, Mahala Jones, Keagen Jones and James R. Decker; and his brothers, Johnny Sawyers of Ohio and Robert Sawyers of Ohio.
