He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell West and Dora Carr West; his siblings, Lonnie Harold, Clyde West, Carl West and Eula Mae Smith; and his children, Chester Allen West and Patricia Louise Higginbotham.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Reaves (Anthony), Roger West (Juanita), Diane Taylor (Roger), Pam Smith, Jerry Builders, Ralph Builders and West Builders. He is also survived by close friends and relatives.
