He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Miniard and Elizabeth Miniard; his daughter Sheila Sturgill; his siblings, Hobert Miniard, Johnny Miniard, Cindy Adams, Marjorine Harris, Nancy Harris and Kathy Fields; and his son Daren Cornett.
He is survived by: his wife Inettia Miniard of Yeaddiss; his children, Greg Miniard (Donna), Geary "Shorty" Miniard (Lelia), Keith Miniard (Chasity), Lisa Miniard, Lois Clark (Ray), Marsha Le'Gere of Hazard, Tiffany Caudill (Craig), Brooklyn Moore of Hazard and Natasha Lynn Halcomb (James); and his grandchildren, Brown, Ellis of Harlan County, Fourteen and Eighteen.
