She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarcy Yates and Grace Flaugher Yates; her husband William Ray Thomas; her son Jerry Yates; her grandsons, Shannon Yates and Garry Brandon Yates; and her siblings, Mae Stewart, Ruth Isaacs, Bud Yates and Bob Yates.
She is survived by: her sons, Garry Yates of Grayson and Donnie Thomas (Kristy) of Willard; her siblings, Clara Jones of Grayson, Mary Alice James of Star, Peggy Manning of Grayson and Sammy Yates (Ruby) of Willard; her grandchildren, Jerry Dale Yates, Payton Blaize Thomas and Keegan Ray Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Yates and Ethan Yates.
