He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joan Axley of Mounds, Illinois and Charles Axley of Mounds, Illinois; his parents, Will Axley and Frances Hicks Axley; and his son Charles Edwards Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Axley; his son Roger Reeves (Debra) of Cunningham; and his grandchildren, Deanna Picklesimer (Derek), Beverly Webb (Jerrod) and Amanda Farmer (Aaron).
