It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Lee Tilley of Wickliffe, Kentucky, born in Hanover, Indiana, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tilley and Rilla May Kerr Tilley; his wife Margaret Tilley; his daughters, Kim Elaine Coles and Norma Kay Downey; and his stepchildren, Greg Harwell, Michael Barnes and Martha Ellen Chesnut.
He is survived by: his children, James Matthew Tilley of Hanover, IN, Eric Wade Tilley (Cheryl) of Paducah, KY, Julie Ann Stewart of Bedford, KY and Rita Mae Swartz of Jacksonville, FL; his stepchildren, Larry Barnes and Midge Miller; and his sons-in-law, Emerson Coles of Hanover, IN and Randy Downey of Hanover, IN. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
