She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Watson Adams; her husband Luther L. Carpenter, Jr.; her father Harrison Adams (Doc); her sister Charlene Wooley; and her nephew Ricky Matlock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kena Carpenter of Wickliffe and Alita Rogers of Gage; her granddaughters, Hannah Anderson (Lee Byrd) and Heather Campbell of Paducah; and her sisters, Fannie Lienhart of Benton and Burnetta Hinterthuer (Steve Holst) of Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is also survived by nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends.
