He was predeceased by: his son Brian Keith Hawes; and his parents, Charles Hawes and Annie Fitzgerald Hawes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Criddle Hawes of Wickliffe; his daughter Mary Ann Dennis of Wickliffe; his grandchildren, Britney Roman, Crystal Green, Devin Hawes, Austin Hawes and Lauren Hawes; his great grandchildren, Aidyn Roman, Cale Roman and Braxton Hawes; and his sisters, Bessie Pleasant of Goreville, Frances Harris of Wyatt, Bertha Garner of Herrin, Annie Mae Hawes of Wickliffe and Rose Powell of Marion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
