He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hunt and Mary Martin Hunt; his brothers, George Martin Hunt, Phillip Martin Hunt and Billy Hunt; and his pet Ralfie.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Freeman Hunt; his daughter Becky Hunt Martin of Cunningham, Kentucky; his sisters, Ann Walter of Paducah and Georgie Lang of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Austin Martin (Sara Bradley) of Paducah, Zack Martin (Laurel) of Kirkwood and Haley Martin Davis (Kyle) of Paducah, Kentucky. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
